Free Laser Tag, Halloween Special and More!!!

Hey Fans!

Come into Badger any time this Saturday with a Halloween costume on and get a FREE Inflatable Fun Pass or 25 FREE game tokens. That’s right FREE, come in before or after trick or treating for some family fun at Badger.

Badger wants to give all of our fans some FREE Laser Tag. Our goal is to have 5,000 Fans on our Fan page by November 15. If we get there, you get Free Laser tag November 16th – 19th. All Facebook fans can come in and get one free session of laser tag per night.

Here is how you do it! To suggest our page to all your friends click on the Suggest to Friends link underneath our logo on the Badger Sports Park fan page. Click on your friends names then hit send and let’s get to 5,000! More details to follow.

Greetings Badger Fans!

First off we would like to thank you for your patronage this summer.  It has been a big summer for us with the NEW expansion of our LASERTRON Laser Tag , our Badger Inflatable arena, our Route 66 Mini Bowling and our brand new private party room, The Sports Corner. Thank you all for your patience with our new construction!!

Badger is now ready to start giving the best deals in town on practically everything.  October will be a big month here at Badger with a number of new specials. As the weather cools down, Badger is heating things up with our NEW INDOOR ATTRACTIONS!

Laser tag Big Group/ Big Fun Special.  Monday – Friday only Groups of 10 or more play for only $7.00 per person.  That’s a savings of $5.00.  Reservations are strongly recommended!!

Jump Around Special. Inflatables are only $5.00 Monday – Friday for all day unlimited play! Moms bring your youngsters in while the rest of the kids are at school.  We have FREE WIFI for you to get some work done!

Badger Sports Park and Project Athena team up

Badger Sports Park and Project Athena are teaming up with a local Appleton woman to help fight women’s health issues such as breast cancer and spinal injury.

Kerrie Kerkman, of Appleton, will be participating in an endurance challenge with the Project Athena Foundation on October 1, 2009. Last year, Kerrie, who has a degenerative spinal condition, was selected as a recipient and completed a marathon on The Great Wall of China. This year, she and other participants will cover 54 miles running the Grand Canyon.

Here’s how you can help join the fight:

From now through October 1, 2009 you can book a group laser tag team building party for up to 30 people for a minimum donation of $40. Parties can take place during any weekday before 7 p.m. Badger recommends having a minimum of 20 people.   These parties are a collaborative team building effort where as your group progresses through the game, we give your team leaders vital information that they must pass on to their group to develop a winning strategy!  As we say, our scoreboard never lies!

Of the money raised, 100% will go directly to Project Athena. The mission of Project Athena is to help women with breast cancer and other medical or traumatic setbacks fulfill their athletic and adventurous dreams.

Badger Sports Park expands to offer more fun to Fox Valley families

Badger Sports Park, the Fox Valley’s premiere family entertainment center, is expanding its attractions to include LaserTron© laser tag, mini-bowling, and inflatables.  This expansion adds 13,000-square-feet to Badger Sports Park.  Approximately 5,000-square-feet of sport turf will serve as multi-use space, and will be available for dances, corporate meetings and retreats.

“We are very excited about the addition of the laser tag arena, inflatables, and mini-bowling to Badger Sports Park,” said Pat VanAbel, owner/director of business development at Badger Sports Park. “Now we are able to offer year-round activities that serve the entire family as well as our corporate guests.”

LaserTron will be the only two-story laser tag arena northeast Wisconsin.  The arena occupies 5,000-square-feet of space. The game is a fast paced, competitive team sport, in which participants play with offensive and defensive strategies. Special CHIPS “Competitive Human Interactive Player Software” are used to maximize team strategies. A game includes briefing, vesting and four separate games in your 30 minute time slot. This multigame format allows for participants to pick up on strategies and play as the game progresses. There are also 60 minute and 90 minute sessions available.   Reservations are highly recommended.  Please call Badger ahead of time to reserve your slot.

Badger also offers a large inflatable area that occupies 5,000-square-feet of space. Children can play in four brand new sports themed inflatables. For $7, children can enjoy unlimited play all day. This area is for children aged two to 10. A special turf has also been installed under the inflatables, allowing them to be moved aside, to allow for different types of uses, such as dances, sports and dodge ball.

Tim Bruecker, (owner / operations management) at Badger Sports Park also commented, “The sports turf also offers versatility; besides adding activities, it also provides meeting space that can be used by groups and businesses that visit the facility.”

Along with the expansion, Joe Van Abel (owner/ Marketing) will now assist in marketing and outside sales with Badger Sports Park. Jenny Rooyakers has been made full-time in her role as manager. She will be responsible for scheduling and counter operations.  To date, Badger Sports Park has 35 part time and full time employees. In addition, they are also currently seeking 10 new part and full time positions.

Badger Sports Park is also expanding its menu to include food such as chicken strips, cheese curds and french fries. Reservations are recommended for some of the attractions. Call 920.830.6900 for more information.

We have extended the buy one, get one free laser tag deal! The deal will continue until Friday, September 4. Buy a 30-minute session for $12 and get one free.

Beginning Friday, August 21, 2009, laser tag is opened to the general public and to kick-off its opening, Badger Sports Park is offering a buy one, get one free deal. From Friday, August 21 through Friday, August 27, buy a 30-minute session for $12 and get one free.

This deal can be split between two people, so two people can play for the price of one, or it can be used by one person. If used by one person, sessions must be at least an hour apart. Both sessions must be used on the same day.
